Please write and attach an essay of no more than 500 words describing why you should be considered for the Garrett Dunsmoor Memorial Scholarship. Garrett always valued excellence across disciplines, making a commitment to his schoolwork, sports, and extracurricular activities, along with a love for music and film. Please address what you feel you have learned from your commitments and activities during your high school career and what you hope to gain from your college or technical school experience. Garrett was also always willing to raise a helping hand and his kindness left a positive impact on the people he knew. Please also give some thought to what positive impact you want to make in your life and on the people around you.
